They discussed how Russian and other malicious actors use AI to hijack reality pushing their narratives on the global stage. With the help of generative AI advancement and bot technologies it became easier to manipulate public perception of democratic institutions and even states.
Moreover, this is also a beneficial activity that brings money to those spreading disinformation leading to disinfonomics, which results in payback from the platforms for the subscriber's views.
